Company: MIDOR is a JV between Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), Engineering for the Petroleum and Process Industries (ENPPI), and The Petroleum Projects & Technical Consultations Co. (Petrojet), and the Suez Canal Bank. It was founded in 1994.

Size: 100,000 BPD (currently being expanded to 160,000 BPD)

Brief Facts:  The original project partners when the project was formed in 1994 was EGPC, the Israeli based Merhave Group and Salem Group.

Description: The MIDOR refinery produces high quality petroleum products with markets in Egypt, Europa and several Arab and African countries.   MIDOR is the most advanced refinery in Africa.  MIDOR has its own integrated power station, as well as water supply facility.
