Company: Caribbean Gas Chemical Limited (CGCL) is a JV between Mitsubishi Corporation, Mitsubishi Gas Chemicals Company Co, Inc., Massy Holdings Ltd, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), and the National Gas Corporation (NGC)

Size: 1,000,000 Tons Per Year of Methanol using MGC technology and 20,000 tons per year of DME using MGC technology

Project Overveiw:

Key Facts: Energy Allied International developed this project through its project company named Integrated Chemicals Company Limited (ICCL).   Located at the Union Industrial Estate in La Brea (South Trinidad).  CGCL was established in 2014

Value: USD 1 Billion

Brief Facts:  The Natural Gas to Petrochemicals Complex was developed to work with the Trinidad government to produce higher-value products to bring new technology and expanded local employment to the country.

Description: The project was financed by the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC).  The project is currently under construction by MHI, and is expected to be completed in 2018.  The project will create 2000 jobs at peak construction and will benefit local contractors and energy service companies.
